Good product if you have a real zipline and more than a kids line , this trolley is a must. Our line was so fast that at the end the spring brake would still allow almost whiplash. With this trolley you are in full control. Go fast when you want to go fast and slow down or stop when you want too.

Very simple to use, super easy to control your speed. Great from the start, and gives confidence to friends and family who are using a zipline for the first time. Speed control makes this product super safe, allowing you to break or slow down at your discretion with ease. You also have the option to go as fast as you like so don't think this product will slow you down if you are looking for speed. Very happy with product and the customer services was answering my questions just about every other day when I was assembling my zipline. Thank you for all your help!

Love it! We have @250' zip line through a wooded slope with two tall platforms on each end. It was important to have a solid breaking system, plus I like the idea of each rider being able to control their speed. The harness is comfortable. From kids to adults, we are all enjoying it! Highly recommend!

The handle bar braking system is a genius design! Simple and safe to operate and very well made. The SaferZip harness is also top quality and equally heavy duty. I like also the SaferZip seat system...it gets used 5 to 1 over the harness...by adults and kids alike.

I had a chance to use one of these when I was on vacation which is why I purchased it. You can go super fast if you want, or you can slow yourself down, which is especially nice at the end of the line. You can even stop and enjoy the view mid-line if you want. I did learn there is a little bit of technique to it. You slow yourself by pulling back on the handles, so if you want to go really fast stay more upright with your body, if you lean way back you will most likely be pulling the handles back too. Also when you put your harness on, make sure the leg straps are up as high as possible, having them lower on your thigh forces your body to lean back, which in turn can slow you down. Just sharing these things because I like to go fast. Great trolley.

Works like a charm with the seat or harness for all ages and weights. The braking system is by far the best out there and not something you want to go cheap on and have pads wear out or not work when you need them to work. The zip line trolley with built in braking system, by SaferZip, is the most popular and fun addition to our stay at home aresonal of toys!
stars Genius design!!!

First and foremost, this zipline brake design and seat are genius. I searched for hours trying to find an alternative to what's currently available in the zipline world. I wanted to find an apparatus that was more practical and didn't require constant brake pad replacements. After a while, I stumbled upon SaferZip on Amazon. I went to their website and learned about the man behind the design and watched some how-to videos he posted about his product. I've used mine about 30 times and the brake works flawlessly. For those who don't like wearing a full body harness, the seat is a must have for comfort sake. The attention to detail on both the brake and the chair are impressive; however, there was one ultra small bump on the bottom of my seat where a weld spark stuck to the metal and the paint amplified the ultra small pin head blemish. Plucking it off with a butter knife and dabbing the exposed metal with a sharpe did the trick. Other than that, the seat is welded thoroughly and appears tough enough to darn near hold an elephant. I thought the price for the brake and seat were a bargain compared to what I've seen thus far. I've felt safe and secure since day one of owning this little marvel. Major kudos to the worker bees and owner at saferzip.com.

We have only used it a few times and product works as described. It is very easy to use. Quickly and safely stops the rider. Also, helps riders remain facing forward as they descend on the zip line. I called the Vendor after business hours and immediately got my questions answered.

Boy, was our crew excited to get in on the ground level with Safer Zip! We've been using our Sport Zipliner, Backyard Zipliner, and Zipline Seat for over a year now and are pleased to offer our review of each. Neighbors, family, and friends alike all love the new addition to our homestead. (Our products were purchased via eBay, though I see they're now available at both SaferZip dot com and Amazon.)
First, the product is simply revolutionary. Though relative neophytes to ziplining, our family's first zipline is a 225ft. run through our property's woods. I shopped near and far for the right combination of performance, safety, and ingenuity in a zipline trolley and nothing out there offers the combination that Safer Zip's line of products does. Alternatives were either toy-ish (would you send your kid careening down a zipline 25ft. in the air secured by a combination of flimsy metal and plastic bits?), overly expensive (+$500 - no thanks!), or contained consumable (and thus costly) replacement brake pads.
Though (at least at the time) our finished products still have indications of being homemade versus mass-manufactured by robots abroad (a rough edge here or there/a little unevenness in the paint finish), they're structurally and functionally flawless (and that's without mentioning the full warranty on each and every product that they sell).
Safer Zip's braking system uses simply physics applied to the zipline cable to smoothly and safely slow or bring the trolley to a stop. I'm pleased to report that after a year's use and hundreds (thousands?) of trips down the line, our 3/8" cable is no worse for the wear. Whether +300lb. adults or 25lb. kids (or anything in-between), with Safer Zip, the experience is both fun and accessible to all.
Speaking of the lightweights (kids!), the Zipline Seat has been a godsend. The security and confidence of a solidly affixed clip between the child's legs alongside the simple "backpack style" plastic clip attached around their waste provides the right combination of easy loading/unloading and safety for the ride. (Regardless, always have all riders wear a helmet!)
The handlebars on both the Sport Zipliner and Backyard Zipliner not only deploy the brakes in an easy to understand and intuitive fashion (push out to fly and pull back to brake), but they also solve one of the most frustrating problems of the traditional zipline experience - facing forwards! Instead of dizzily spinning like a top on your ride down the line, you can now face forward or comfortably look where you want (!) instead of where the ride may dictate.
Dealing with Safer Zip's founder and team is a snapshot of the American dream. As a passionate zipline enthusiast himself, he identified a problem, tinkered until he conceived a solution, crafted endless prototypes in his own garage, and proved the concept on his own ziplines.
Not only was Safer Zip kind enough to customize our paint scheme for the sporty look we had in mind, they were also willing to provide expert consultation as we purchased and installed our zipline with a number of purchases from vendors having nothing to do with their firm. They helped us out simply for the love of the ride!
I'm happy to field any questions about these products offered as a comment to this review but would encourage you to visit the Safer Zip website and contact their team to receive the same excellent service that we did. Happy zipping!
